This motel's log building offers nine large comfortable rooms with satellite TVs, microwaves, refrigerators and BBQs. The property has a view of Mt. McKinley. They have hiking trails and a canoe which guests can use on a nearby small pond. Call ahead for reservations because they do tend to book up early, especially during the summer. The nice folks here give out pet blankets to put over the furniture if your dog is going to be on the bed or chairs. They are located about 30 miles from Denali National Park. Pets must be on leash when outside of the rooms and may not be left unattended in the room or in your car. Dogs under 70 pounds are allowed.

This resort is a great place to view the Aurora Borealis due to it's location in the northern region and it's distance from the city lights. They offer hotel rooms, cabins, RV parking and camping. There are lots of outdoor activities to do on this 440 acre resort. They are located approximately 60 miles east of Fairbanks. There is a $100 refundable deposit for pets.

This resort is located about 40 miles south of Anchorage. While they do not allow pets at the lodge, you can rent cross-country skis from the lodge and then go across the street with your dog to the Moose Meadows Trail. Dogs should be leashed on the trail. The trail is usually groomed and runs for several miles.
